FM Erwin Rommel
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
"In a man to man fight, the winner is he who has one more round in his magazine."
Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel (15 November 1891 - 14 October 1944) was one of the most famous German field marshals of World War II. He was the commander of the Deutsches Afrika Korps and also became known by the nickname "The Desert Fox" for the skilful military campaigns he waged on behalf of the German Army in North Africa. He was later in command of the German forces opposing the Allied cross-channel invasion at Normandy. He is thought by many to have been the most skilled commander of desert warfare in World War II.
"Courage which goes against military expediency is stupidity, or, if it is insisted upon by a commander, irresponsibility."
"Mortal danger is an effective antidote for fixed ideas.."
"Sweat saves blood, blood saves lives, and brains save both."
"Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning."
Blitzkrieg | Germany | Rommel AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Blitzkrieg probably doesn't get as much credit as it deserves, as one of the strongest non-bomb special operations in Axis and Allies RTS. The massive +50 attack value for all armor units offers a huge advantage during late-game armor battles. Try and coordinate with your teamates and use right after a carpet bomb, v weapon, etc, for maximum effectiveness. Blitzkrieg only works on armor units, so best not to waste it on any halftrack regiments, such as the Anti Tank Halftrack regiment, since it doesnt have many armor units. Save it for your armor if you can.
"Gentlemen, you have fought like lions and been led by donkeys." Said to captured British officers after Tobruk
Panzer Holhe | Germany | Rommel 500

AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Panzer Holhe The German Panzer Holhe , commonly refered to as a "Paper Tank " (or "Fake Tank "), produces a single, unattached medium tank regiment. Although it is often the subject of jokes, the Paper Tank does actually have some practical applications in online mulitplayer gameplay. Annoy your enemies by stealing their cities and destroying their tech buildings , or even blocking their retreat . Possibly the most powerful use is a technique we'll call the....
The Basic Idea: Move a sizable force (out of view of the enemy), with supply trucks, towards a city by an opponents' base, and use a Paper Tank to steal the city before you get there. Try not to enter the supply zone of the city with your main force until it has been captured by the Paper Tank. This way your enemies won't know you have reinforcements there, and may only send a small force to try to retake the city. Deploy your supply trucks as needed, and enjoy chewing on a base for awhile... Step by step instructions at the link above, or view the slideshow

Forced March | Germany | Rommel AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Forced March Greatly increases a unit's speed, but also decreases health and morale. While it doesnt directly effect morale, it inflicts (1) flame damage per second to targeted regiments (flame damage has devestating effects on morale). This is not a special op we would advise you use very often. It has always been joked about “I wish I could use it on the enemy”... Save your experience for other uses.
"Men are basically smart or dumb and lazy or ambitious. The dumb and ambitious ones are dangerous and I get rid of them. The dumb and lazy ones I give mundane duties. The smart ambitious ones I put on my staff. The smart and lazy ones I make my commanders." Erwin Rommel
Corp Reorganization AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Corp Reorganization - Everyone has to deploy a new corp hq from time to time. Don't be hasty about placing that second corp (this special op can only be used once per hour). Make sure you have resolved the situation that caused you to lose your first one! You can always ask your allies if the have a safe place, their base defenses may be better than yours.
If there is no safe place wait until there is one! Move your technology buildings in the meantime, as they may be subject to attack following the fall of your corp hq (losing those buildings too will limit the regiments you can produce).
Keep in mind your second Corp HQ will become a "high priority" target for your enemies. If they can destroy your second corp, and your technology buildings, you will be stuck making only light tanks or halftracks (depending on the tents you have left), which really can't compete in the later stages of the game (or any stage of the game for that matter).
General Rommel Considered to be one of the weakest generals for multiplayer, since he lacks a special op that has much effect in the early to mid-game; and also faces the challenges of Germany. But don't resign just yet... Use your
paper tanks to harrass the enemy and
steal cities , and if you can get to the armor stage of the game, you have one of the strongest non-bomb special operations in A&A...
