Rokossovsky held senior commands until 1937, when he became caught up in Joseph Stalin 's Great Purge and accused of "connections with foreign intelligence". After interrogations that included torture resulting in nine missing teeth, three cracked ribs, the removal of his fingernails, and three mock shooting ceremonies, he was sent to a prison "Kresty" in Leningrad, where he remained until March 1940, when he was released without explanation, apparently due to preparation for World War II .
In a famous incident during the planning in 1944 of Operation Bagration , Rokossovsky conflicted with Stalin who demanded in accordance with Soviet war practice a single break-through of the German frontline. Rokossovsky held firm in his argument for two break-throughs. Stalin ordered Rokossovsky to "go and think it over" three times, but every time he returned and gave the same answer "Two break-throughs, Comrade Stalin, two break-throughs." After the third time Stalin remained silent, but walked over to Rokossovsky and put a hand on his shoulder. A tense moment followed as the whole room waited for Stalin to rip the epaulette from Rokossovsky's shoulder; instead, Stalin said "Your confidence speaks for your sound judgement," and ordered the attack to go forward according to Rokossovsky's plan. The battle was successful, and Rokossovsky's reputation was assured. After crushing German Army Group Centre in Belarus, Rokossovsky's armies reached the east bank of the Vistula opposite Warsaw by mid-1944. For these victories he gained the rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union . Stalin once said: "I have no Suvorov, but Rokossovsky is my Bagration."

Communist Zeal 1000
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Communist Zeal - Temporarily increases speed, attack, and defense values of all targeted infantry. Not to be confused with the worthless Communist Purge special op of Zhukov , Communist Zeal will give your infantry more health and speed to chase down retreating enemies..
Make sure to remember that this special op only affects infantry, so mid to late game spamming regiments with rapid deployment will be Rokossovski's best option.
Double The Guard 400
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Double The Guard - An "emergency use only" special op, Double The Guard will give and targeted structures that are capable of defending themselves, a +15 attack value bonus (depots and tech buildings have no defenses). Works on your base, or any allied structures, including bunkers. So if you or your allies base is in trouble, Double The Guard to help repel the attack. If any bunkers are available make sure to target them too.
Can also be used on AA bunkers, if you see an incoming airstrike, and fear you, or your allies, don't have enough anti-air defenses built.
Rapid Deployment 300
420
-10%
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Rapid Deployment - "Requisitions equipment to temporarily reduce all deployment costs"
This special op will slowly "decay" for five minutes, unless destroyed first. However, it will reduce the cost of all regiments no matter where you place it on the map, so put it in a safe place!
Useful in a variety of circumstances since it reduces the deployment costs of ALL regiments. Use it early for infantry, or late for armor... Best if you stockpile some money first, so you can buy muliple regiments at the reduced price. Combine with the Conscription or Tank Production upgrade for even cheaper regiments!
Corp Reorganization AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Corp Reorganization - Everyone has to deploy a new corp hq from time to time. Don't be hasty about placing that second corp (this special op can only be used once per hour). Make sure you have resolved the situation that caused you to lose your first one! You can always ask your allies if the have a safe place, their base defenses may be better than yours.
If there is no safe place wait until there is one! Move your technology buildings in the meantime, as they may be subject to attack following the fall of your corp hq (losing those buildings too will limit the regiments you can produce).
Keep in mind your second Corp HQ will become a "high priority" target for your enemies. If they can destroy your second corp, and your technology buildings, you will be stuck making only light tanks or halftracks (depending on the tents you have left), which really can't compete in the later stages of the game (or any stage of the game for that matter).
Russia is good at putting alot of regiments on the field quickly, with the
Conscription and/or
Tank Production upgrades, and Rokossovski's Rapid Deployment cranks it up another notch. This gives Rokossovski the advantage of producing infantry and armor that costs less than any other general, perfect for
spamming !
If your opponent has no (or few) bombs feel free to make large quantities of
snipers ,
regular infantry , or even
conscripts , and go for the early game win. In such builds, make sure to get your
infantry upgrades and use favorable terrain such as cities, forests, and jungle to your advantage!
Charge your EXP, get your supply ready, and when you are ready to push, try using Rokossovski's Communist Zeal! Watch as your infantry will dominate the front lines!
Mid-to-Late game, Rapid Deployment will be Rokossovski's only viable special op, but thats not as bad as it sounds. Putting more units on the field, for less money, is always a good thing.
Make sure to familiarize yourself with the inherent strengths of Russia [
