Carpet Bomb 1800
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Carpet Bomb - One of the most powerful special ops in the game. Sends a wave of long range bombers to carpet bomb a target area. [compare all the special op bombs ]
The Double Bomb - The most important aspect in online multiplayer is to coordinate the use of the carpet bomb with the other "bombs" your allies may (or may not) have. The "double bomb" can have devastating effects on enemy forces when used correctly. When you have acquired enough experience for your carpet bomb, let your allies know, and if someone else has one, hold onto yours until you can "double". [more info ]
The Single Bomb - Occasionally there are circumstances where you may need to use a single bomb to defend a base, or to prevent your forces from being "pinched ". Once again, communicated with your allies, ask them if they have anything to counter the threat, and if not, go ahead and single bomb.
If you have the only bomb on your team you have a little more freedom about when and where to use it. However, with freedom comes some responsibilty, so keep an eye on battlefield conditions, and if your allies need it more than you do, help them out.
The Front Lines - Another important aspect of using any bomb type special op, is to use them where you have nearby forces. Not only can you chase down wounded/routed regiments and "finish them off", but you can also use this as an opportunity to "push" (advance) the front lines, as enemy forces will be retreating to heal.
Charging Your Bomb - You also have a responsibilty to your allies to try to "charge" your bomb quickly by gaining as much experience as possible. That may mean you focus a little less on your economy, and a little more on making regiments and getting them into battle. The more troops you have fighting the quicker you will gain exp for your bomb!
Propaganda War 800
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Propaganda War - Saps enemy units of their will to fight, decreasing morale, defense value, and max speed. Usually best to save it for later in the game, but can be used if you are pushing close to an enemy base, or in emergency situations. Keep in mind the 800 experience cost will set you back quiet awhile on your Carpet Bomb, if you use it early. Combine with the other special ops of your allies (or your Carpet Bomb) for maximum effect.
Secret Agent 200
240
(1) Secret Agent
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Secret Agent - The secret agent special op deploys an unattached single unit, with no weapons, to scout enemy territory. This unit also steadily losses health until it dies, even if it is not in a combat situation (as illustrated on the left).
Needless to say the applications for this special op are limited. Don't waste the experience on this special in the early game, much more important to save that EXP for your carpet bomb. Can be used in the late game to probe enemy defenses for a weak spot.
Corp Reorganization 1000
3600
(1) Corp HQ
AXIS and ALLIES RTS
Corp Reorganization - Everyone has to deploy a new corp hq from time to time. Don't be hasty about placing that second corp (this special op can only be used once per hour). Make sure you have resolved the situation that caused you to lose your first one! You can always ask your allies if the have a safe place, their base defenses may be better than yours.
If there is no safe place wait until there is one! Move your technology buildings in the meantime, as they may be subject to attack following the fall of your corp hq (losing those buildings too will limit the regiments you can produce).
Keep in mind your second Corp HQ will become a "high priority" target for your enemies. If they can destroy your second corp, and your technology buildings, you will be stuck making only light tanks or halftracks (depending on the tents you have left), which really can't compete in the later stages of the game (or any stage of the game for that matter).
