Germany is called a country of failure and corruption before it was divide into East and West Germany. First World War I that was complete fail in the Western front when they massed produced men to fight along the front line. The lack of cooperation in the government and military caused the Germans to lose their territories such as in the East Asia where once explorers claimed for their own country. And now Germany had rose to power by the infamous dictator Adolf Hitler who proved to corrupt with his power. The early victories of the Nazi era was quick and fast paced but they were all forgotten until the Battle of Stalingrad came to the homeland. Hitler forced many generals to step down and immediately takes control. However they are known for bringing in late weapons such as the V-1, V-2, and Messerschmidt 262. Most of the later inventions that was developed by Nazi Germany went on to create ballistic missiles and land a man on the moon. It is all Hitler's fault hes the one said that Germany will regain the territory they lost in World War I back but he lied. Germany is a world that procrastinates in warfare not to be stereotypical but they do just in wars.

I do not understand what you mean by procrastinated? If you say this because Germany was late in developing weapons such as the v1, you must understand that such technology pushed the limits of technology at the time. Plus, there were being bombed back into the stone age by the allies, which hurt them a lot. They focused a lot on moving stuff underground, but they were too slow in doing so.

No, Germany is always the country that are always running of out of time. They could have invented the V-1 and V-2 earlier which can change the course of war.

One of the main reason for WW2 was that the French were humiliating and beating German citizens in the streets and that lead to Hitler rising to power because he had muscle to stop all that atrocity in the streets. But Germany and its allies did develop numerous technologies some modified like the jet engine others like gyroscope rockets and tanks. And Stalingrad was not a big defeat per se it was Hermann Goring's lack of leadership in the air force, fault without air support the German war machine did not have any more bite, and not developing the planes they became obsolete. Ans the V-1 and V-2 rockets go, it was a costly project that set them back very far in the war effort but ahead in technology, even today only 30% of German WW2 era technology has been used by the allies 70% are still yet untouched.

It also had to do with Antisemitism too you know. I agree with you on Herman Goring he was responsible for the lost of Battle of Britain. It was his foolish tactic that contributed countless lives of Germans. They even had remote controlled bombs which were sometimes experimental and failed to work.

LOL I just made the discussion for it lol. Some say that China is going to be a Superpower but I think its not possible because of how their government corruptly works and because of the large population. Others say that Russia might redeem itself after its fall in the Cold War against US.

Russia is still living in the shadow of the Soviet Union. I think the Russian people don't want to become a superpower and want their government to simply handle their own problems. This is why Putin isn't to popular right now. The Russian people don't want a repeat of the 1990s.

China could become superpower, but their actions are contradictory. They are not very assertive at times and other times they are too assertive. Plus, the government doesn't have a real vision, it simply wants to hold onto power. These two things will make it difficult to become a superpower in the future. The only possibly is if a more radical party comes to power, which there isn't any I know of.

The EU HAD the potential to become a superpower in its own right, but after the recent economic crisis and its lack of unity, that won't happen any time soon.

So the US seems to be the only one. Still, our power was greatly weakened by the economic crisis and our debt is up beyond rationality. So how long we remain a superpower, or a developed nation for that matter, is a question of time.

It seems we are entering another phase of multiple polarity (Like before world war I). In the future, there will be many strong nations, none more powerful than another.

More information on Superpowers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superpower

Thats a lie when a strong nations will be not powerful than another. Religion also potrays in the role of the wars such as the Arab- Israeli conflict that is going on right now. Or the disposing the government in the Arab Spring. If there was no religion which I do not believe there should be none then it would end up like an Utopian society in Orwell's 1984. Clearly, superpowers do not last long but United States is the oldest of all almost a 100 years in becoming a global power.

He who holds terrible weapons is feared, but does Americas strategy in controlling other countries resemble of some one you known in WW2?
And having bases in countries and prisons put a strain on the economy.

Well if China gets Industrialized its gonna be very bad for them, because its gonna lead to a revolution. And as Russia goes they don't want a war they are still recovering form the Cold War as many countries in East Europe.

They did not lack technology they had a lot but different testing on may like Maus and heavy artillery made them spend in the wrong field a lot money that could benefit them in airplanes.
