I hope this isn't against the forum rules but I made a Nazi war flag mod for Germany, I'm not a nazi nor do I support it but its still cool to have the actual historical flag in the game. The texture I did for the German flag looked better than the originals so I made better flags for all the major nations while keeping the same theme that comes with the game. To install it first you need the RWD Extractor, download it here http://www.mediafire.com/?aspq84ans3a089a. Run the extractor and find the A&A directory, it should be under Atari. Next extract the Data.rwd file in the game directory, also find a folder called skins and extract the Ger.rwd file in the skins folder. Open the GER folder, copy and paste the background.tga file in GER/Metagame/UI/Controlpanel, this is only for 1024 by 768 res. Next open the Data folder and copy and paste all the Flag.dds files in Data/Shared/Sharedtextures. If you did right it should ask if you want to replace the files. Don't worry about screwing up the game or making backups, if you don't like the mod you can just delete the Data folder and GER folder and the game will load all the original files when you run it. By the way this is how to install any mod not just mine. |
