Hello All! I've played Axis and Allies for a few years now, one of those on and off players. Never really play online, I mostly make maps for myself and play those. Various scenarios, stuff of that sort. Lately I've been tweaking the WWII - changing what territories belong to who, what is in the territories, unit cost, ect. I plan on renaming some of the units and Generals - this is where I'm stuck - and hope I can get some help on this site. |

Yea seems a bit barren here.. lol
You know if the amount of generals is set? Or can there be more than 4.. and where is the description for the generals stored?
I'm also looking to decrease accuracy of all units.. |

Here is a list of changes I have made/plan on making:
Land unit changes:
- Artillery range (accuracy too?_
- Health of artillery decrease (save for Su-152 which will be swapped in the AT regiment for Su-85)
- Removal of artillery tank and artillery halftrack - replace with generic "Artillery Regiment"
- Tanks immune to bullets (depending on how this works out with balancing)
- Overhaul of units in regiments to reflect infantry supporting vehicles
- new various units Japanese marines, ect..
Airpower overhaul:
- All 109s are now G-6 variant
- Yaks have Yak-3 and Yak-9...
- Going to look into requiring Yak-3 supercharger upgrade
- G4M is now Japanese naval bomber not G8N (admit it the idea of a 4 engine bomber on a carrier is absurd)
- Brits and Americans both use P-51 for escort
- Bomber variant of P-51
- Bomber variant of F4U (for carriers)
I'm not very savvy where it comes to 3d models so it seems for the time being I'm stuck with the MK.22 Spitfire
Regular infantry regiments are no longer next to useless late game
And some other stuff too.. still working out balancing, ect
At this point I only really need help with a few things (are there any modders here? lol):
what controls unit accuracy?
how to add generals?
how to make regiments spawn when going to tactical battles in the campaign mode? |

You will need a program to unwrap those files in to a way you can read it. |
