Is there a patch where there is an option to play a fully customized WWII map scenario to let players freely make or break alliances and fight totally on its own ? No allied or team victory should be there. The player should at least capture any two enemy capitals on its own out of the remaining four to win but should be allowed to play on to capture all of them. The victory message should be different though after the video.
Axis & Allies sucks !!!
The basic gameplay logic is absurd and funny but anyway the campaigns are somewhat ok. However, the WWII map scenario is not good at all.
First of all, the game is not balanced. The allies have major advantage, not only in terms of team player numbers, but also in terms of quality of troops and logic. The United States clearly have been awarded the most powerful military, especially the infantry.
The quick resolve option is totally meaningless.
Secondly, winning is pretty simple. If you want a quick victory, you must have air support and then you should bomb the pulp out of your enemy and destroy the enemy corps HQ a few times. Anything else will either result in a very lengthy and boring campaign or put you to a stalemate position.
No matter how many times its played & which side the player takes, some or all of the following will definitely happen.
1. Nobody notices britain which gobbles up one territory after another, like going to a
brothel and f***ing for free since the brothel is being run by its parents & the girls
working there are its mother & sisters.
2.Germany wants to settle personal scores with Russia and ignores other enemies. If on
rare occasions it fails to capture Russian territory, it remembers there are other
enemies also.
3.Russia has no idea what’s going on.
4.Japan is so obsessed with US occupied China, Philippines & Caribbean
that no matter how many times it gets defeated it tries again & again
and the US player has to play the same campaign again & again.
5.Its really hard to lose if you are an US player.
6.Japan has hopeless mechanized & armor divisions & they rarely make any
difference. Japanese armor division is a big joke.
In spite of all these the game can be made much better.
My recommendation is the above mentioned patch.
I was playing for the US and the Axis could not harm me. My alliance with britain hurt me more. It cost me territories and I felt like fighting the british. Same thing goes for my Russian side also.
Again, the game eats up too much system resources but does not deliver much. If WWII were implemented in Rise of Nations it would be much better and much interesting. |

Yeah when I played Allies I didn't not even fight for most of my territories, that's why I play Axis more of a challenge. |
