Rising from a lowly cavalry officer in the tzar's army to Marshal of the Soviet forces, Georgi Zhukov proved himself a survivor above all else. By developing the Siberian army during the darkest days of WWII, Marshal Zhukov shocked the Japanese and Germans alike, winning first in Mongolia and then in Europe. Axis and Allies RTS

Zhukov is THE most frustrating general to play with. his special operations are so bad that even the AI presents a challenge.
early on I found myself not using ANY of my experience points while playing with this general! the Purge was only of use in defensive situations (where the infantry was operating with bunkers or mechanized support). the supply drop was useful, but could often get wiped out by enemy mechs-- severely limiting its utility. the saboteur was something of a crapshoot -- as you could frequenly see your saboteur get killed before he even touches the ground.
so I find that the most common use I get from experience points is the "free recon". I'll deploy a saboteur knowing full well that he'll get killed within seconds-- because I want to learn more about the enemy's vulnerable points. I use it just like a secret agent-- basically. if I can attack something-- so be it. if the saboteur dies instantly-- I've still learned something valuable.
in the same way-- sometimes I'll use a supply drop deep inside of my own lines... for no other reason than to have a transport plane spawn over a critical location on the map. the visibility actor generated around the transport planes is sometimes more valuable than the saboteur or supply drop itself.
of course, if you're playing on online game where there is no "fog of war"... then these tactics would be useless-- which probably makes Zhukov even more worthless than he would otherwise be. |

What are u smoking. This guy is ranked one of the top brilliant strategist of all times in World War II his strategy in the Far East proved effective against the Japanese. Also in this game it is also good supply drops similar to Patton and Kesserling in a way. The Communist zeals are effective against snipers and recons. A Saboteur, it depends where u put it place in supply and ammo and oil depots which are unprotected by machine guns and HQ's. Well he earned the Hero of Russia four times saved Russia from Germany. so does this mean that you always hope and pray to get Zhukov in online games because of his awesome special ops?
notice that my first sentence describes my frustrations with Zhukov from a game-play perspective. I never once complained about Zhukov, the man, for being a lousy general. just to clarify. |

Hope and prayer does not account for in online games. Even regardless that his special ops are not helpful, though frustrating to many online players. You can consider him as one of the worst special ops general but not a strategic general. True from a game play perspective that most people will think Zhukov sucks due to the lack. You can't ask the Atari and Timegate because Atari has no rights to this game nor Time gate can't change this unless they have another Axis and Allies 2 lol. |

I have also won with Zhukov multiple times but have loss some which I don't seem to care. I owned a guy with Zhukov when he had Konev. We were both snipers and I massacred him with all my regiments. |
