Here's another one for the stat heads. Ever wonder how attack damage is calculated?
AS * E + AM - DV - DM = ID * M = Total Damage
AS: Attack Strength (random 0.75 to 1.25)
Interesting that the first factor "Attack Strength" is absolutely random...
E: Attack Efficiency (on regiment info icon)
Mainly affected by formation and morale
AM: Attack Modifiers
Come in many forms, such as special ops and upgrades
DV: Target, Defense Value
Pretty easy, the defense value of the target
DM: Target, Defense Modifiers
Come in many forms, such as special ops and upgrades
ID: Initial Damage
Damage total before Damage modifiers
M: Target, Damage Modifiers
Usually will be the base resistances that all regiments have towards certain types of damage, terrain bonuses, or upgrades such as schurtzen, etc.. |
