The difference between Units and Regiments

A&A RTS
A REGIMENT is a group of UNITS, as seen with the US Arty Tank Regiment below.

A UNIT is a SINGLE PART of a REGIMENT, as seen with the US M4A2-Sherman UNIT below.

This stays consistant through out Axis and Allies RTS, and our Reference Guide

A regiment is composed of a variable number of units
^{In Axis and Allies, usually between 3-10 units per regiment}

A division is composed of a variable number of regiments
