I've got some good ones for you guys today.
First video is a portion from a testing of Khalkin Gol. I play as the Soviets here and Lord Buspass is my opponent with the Japanese. There is one Soviet AI in support of me.
Next we have two videos from another match on that match. This time we end up fighting in the northwestern corner of the map. I play as the Soviet Union while Micah plays as the United States and Lord Buspass plays as the Confederacy. There is one AI in support of me here as well.
Needless to say, the US player was fairly new. I aggressively took the airfield and river crossing in the west as quickly as possible, but ultimately, I took a bit longer to bring up supply depots than I had intended and ended up not being able to assault across the river as quickly as I would have liked. Depots take quite some time to move through the heavy forest of that area and I needed to flesh out my entire supply chain as anchoring it only on the airfield was a big vulnerability. Though the US was out of supply for a good chunk of the battle in the north, the Confederates supplied them and bolstered their lines, and eventually even brought up serious artillery, upon which I was forced to deal with them. By the end of the video the field positions reveal that I was ready to move in the north and push across the Khalkin Gol after bloodying the US army, and had also sent a division down south with battery support to pre-empt movement there. After the match Lord Buspass told me he was gathering a large army in the center of the map, consisting of quite a bit of infantry supported by Robert E Lee tank destroyers to attack my more vulnerable flank to the south of the airfield. Would have given a very good fight as I would have been forced to redraw my lines and shuffle units around. US player needed to sleep, so we ended up stopping where we did.
