Tactics must be adapted to the current conditions, and are chosen with regard to the size and type of forces available; taking into account the size and strength of enemy forces. Other important factors in determining tactics are logistics, terrain, reconnaissance, and the likely tactics of the enemy. <br />

Economy:</strong> When it comes to the strengths of the United States, first and foremost it is their economy, which will offer benefits for the entire game. Common for players to &quot;<a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-395.html" title="eco whore">eco whore</a>&quot; during the infantry stage of the game, spamming alot of <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-281.html" title="infantry hq">infantry hq's</a> to bolster their economy (stay away from <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-321.html" title="airborne hq">airborne hq's</a> as they don't generate as much money for USA).<br />&nbsp;<br />
<strong>2. AT Mech:</strong> One of the strongest <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/anti-tank-at-halftrack-regiment-ww2-rts.html" title="Anti Tank Mech">Anti Tank Mech</a> regiments in the game. <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-32.html" title="Mechanized Production">Mechanized Production</a>, <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-25.html" title="Mechanical Reliability">Mechanical Reliability</a>, and the special ops of <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/general-eisenhower-ww2-rts.html" title="Eisenhower">Eisenhower</a> and <a title="Patton" href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/general-patton-ww2-rts.html">Patton</a> make them that much stronger.<br />&nbsp;<br />
<strong>3. Arty Tanks:</strong> USA also has one of the strongest <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/artillery-arty-tank-armor-regiment-ww2-rts.html" title="Arty Tanks">Arty Tank</a> regiments. Use your superior <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/economy.html" title="Economy">economy</a> to produce more units in less time, and back those arties with the best <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/airpower.html" title="Airpower">airpower</a> in the game for a truly devastating offensive push.<br />&nbsp;<br />
<strong>4. Airpower:</strong> Best <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/airpower.html" title="Airpower">airpower</a> in the game. Napalm very effective against enemy structures as buildings have no resistance to fire damage. Although the exact damage inflicted by napalm isnt very well documented, we have seen it add up to +70% to total damage.<br />&nbsp;<br /><div align="center"><em>&quot;When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. <strong>1. Snipers:</strong> Snipers can take out enemy infantry faster than any other type of infantry. Not worth making snipers unless you deploy at least 8 or more regiments, as the sniper units of these regiments can easily kill an entire enemy regiment very quickly (since most regiments have 8 or less units). Keep your snipers in trees and cities to help avoid being &quot;bombed&quot;.<br />&nbsp;<br />
<strong>2. Armor:</strong> Whether <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/heavy-tank-armor-regiment-ww2-rts.html" title="Heavy Tank">Heavy Tank</a> or <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/artillery-arty-tank-armor-regiment-ww2-rts.html" title="Arty Tanks">Arty Tank</a>, Russia has some of the finest armor in the game. Infantry:</strong> Japan has many options when it comes to infantry, and also has the right upgrades for an infantry based build, most notably, <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-43.html" title="Special Forces">Special Forces</a>. <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/mortar-infantry-regiment.html" title="Mortars">Mortars</a>, <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/heavy-airborne-regiment.html" title="Heavy Airborne">Heavy Airborne</a>, and <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/commando-infantry-regiment.html" title="Commandos">Commandos</a> are all viable options when it comes to Japan. <br />&nbsp;<br />
<strong>2. Economy:</strong> Japan is the only country to earn <img src="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/images/icons/smiles/money.gif" width="10" height="10" alt="" border="0" />+30 from every type of HQ (after <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-33.html" title="Military Surplus">Military Surplus</a> upgrade), which leads to a strong late-game <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/economy.html"  title="cssbody=[nukePIEbody] cssheader=[nukePIEhdr] header=[Economy Break Down] body=[Great Britian also has a solid economy when you consider the less expensive HQ costs. Russia has the same Eco as the Brits (minus the tent discount), but add the Tank Production Upgrade  and they can crank out some serious late-game hardware. Then there is poor Germany... This upgrade is a must have when going against mechs. <br />&nbsp;<br />

The Jagdpanther and it's 88mm Gun inflict a punishing 100 attack value when fully upgraded, making it the best Tank Destroyer in the game hands down. Good available upgrades, only missing <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-25.html" title="Mechanical Reliability">Mechanical Reliability</a>, but Germany also has a couple of unique upgrades, <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-4.html" title="Advanced Armor Training">Advanced Armor Training</a> and <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-40.html" title="Schurzen">Schurzen</a> which help make up for this. Decent halftracks that possess the important <a href="http://www.axis-and-allies.com/encyclopedia-24.html" title="Improved Machine Guns">Improved Machine Guns</a> upgrade. The challenge with Germany is surviving the infantry stage of the game, and deploying enough of them with their weak economy. Played correctly, Germany can be a dominate force during the Mech Stage of the game. <br />&nbsp;<br />

<div class="donkey5">Some really good news for hard-core A&amp;A fans, as <a title="GameRanger" rel="shadowbox" href="http://www.gameranger.com/">GameRanger</a> now supports Axis and Allies RTS, the A&amp;A demo, and even the older title <a class="aaTextShadow" title="Axis &amp; Allies: Iron Blitz (1999)" rel="shadowbox" href="http://www.rtsforce.com/images/icons/mini3/iron-blitz.jpg">Axis &amp; Allies: Iron Blitz</a>. This means if GameSpy should go down, either temporarily or permanently, hard-core A&amp;A fans will still have a home. GameRanger offers features like profiles, friends lists, instant messaging, in-game voice communication, and competitive ladders/rankings/ratings.<br />
