Camping Camping in Axis and Allies RTS is a term used to describe the massing many units in one location, and not moving or attacking. It is usually, but not always, a negative term, often referring to a players' lack of pushing, or putting pressure on the enemy. Players that "camp" don't earn EXP as quickly, and allow their opponents time to eco whore, or to double team and/or pinch one of your allies. Camping infantry in favorable terrain such as cities and trees is acceptable in some circumstances, usually on the front lines, or if outnumbered and outclassed by their enemies.
