ECONOMY | Axis and Allies RTS
Economy : One of the most important aspects of Axis and Allies RTS. Many times in-game situations will largely control how you develop your Economy... If you are planning an early game infantry push, or your base is located in the front, you might spend more on regiments and less on the HQ's (which bolster your economy). If you have plans on really getting your economy going, or your base is located in the back, you might spend more on HQ's and less on your armed forces. However, as always, make sure to grab nearby or crucial cities, and don't leave your teamates hanging if they need your support on the front lines. This can be a delicate balance at times, and even the best of players can get caught with their pants down at times, doing too much eco. Simply put, if you are gonna spend early game money on a bunch of infantry, you better get something accomplished with it. Hold a crucial city or have created havoc in someones' base. If you go economy watch the fronts closely and talk with your teamates, your great economy will mean nothing if the front totally collapses. So to begin, lets look at the various countries, and what challenges and advantages they have in regards to their economy.

EXAMPLES | ECONOMY BREAK-DOWN
[after upgrades, income per minute]
So where does this leave us at this point? You ask?
Basic Economy guidelines: If you are going for an all-out early push then go full force, otherwise spend as little on an armed force as you feel comfortable with and concentrate on HQ production. However, you must adapt to the in-game situations as they arrise. Be prepared to deliver some regiments as needed to help your team! Don't buy any necessary tech buildings until right before you need them. When making units, go quantity over quality (as far as upgrades), or at least wait to upgrade them until they reach the front.
* 20 Tents: You will need at least one tech building, such as motor pool, arty brigade, or both (Japan).
SIMPLE ECONOMY TIP
Spamming Infantry HQ's
If you have ever watched a film on an experienced player, you will notice they make ALOT of infantry HQ's.. and it's not because they need to make that much infantry. As a general rule, no matter which country you choose, the more Infantry HQ's, the better your economy.
UN-OFFICIAL RANKS | ECONOMY
Reaching your economic dreams and potential in axis and allies rts can be part science, art, luck, and creativity. There is no magic build order that will boom your eco and win you every game. As we have said many times, you must learn to adapt your strategy, in real time, as the situations present themselves on the battlefield. Want to learn more? Go find a talented player in the Gamespy lobby, play them, and watch the film!
