Once you have created a team you will need to join an event
The first step in any team actions is to login to the team to control it
under the "teams" menu at the top, marked "my teams"

once you are logged into a team you can join an event, or if already part of the event, login to the event
if you logged into team properly you should also see a third menu "options" now at the top with other stuff to do.
go to Options > Events
to see the current events you are part of and/or join a new event with the menu at the bottom
